The Artwork of Martha Schwartz

Page 2

After working very hard on her pictures, Martha sent me her latest batch with yet more excellent artwork. The first picture is very special to her because she did it some years back; so it's her original T3I artwork. As you can tell, it's from The Mystery of the Stuttering Parrot and shows the scene where Bob and Pete discover Blackbeard in the box in Headquarters just as Jupiter enters through Tunnel Two. It's obvious that she put a lot of work into this drawing.

The second one is a unique picture that she did from The Secret of Terror Castle. First, she drew this picture with Bob in his modern appearance (i.e., blonde with glasses instead of dark-haired without glasses as Kane drew him in the original Terror Castle). Second, she highlighted parts of the drawing with phosphorescent paint so that it glows. Of course, it doesn't show in a scan, but it's a neat touch, nonetheless.

Last, but not least, is a colorful rendering of the The Mystery of the Nervous Lion. The detail again is amazing, particularly on the lion itself.
