These illustrations (Harry Kane's illustration on left, Roger
Hall's illustration on right) show similar but not identical
scenes. In Kane's drawing, the boys are on a tour with Prince
Djaro and are looking at the portrait of Prince Paul, while
Hall's illustration shows the boys looking at the silver spider
of Varania a few minutes later.
