Nick West

Nick West (a pseudonym of Kin Platt) is credited with writing two of the books in the series: "Coughing Dragon" and "Nervous Lion." While "Coughing Dragon" had some excellent plot points and appealed to the gadget-lovers, it also had a strange sense of déjà vu, which was due to the lifting of material from earlier Robert Arthur stories.

"Nervous Lion," on the other hand, was written with what appeared to be a fresh hand. The story was relatively unique, and the feel of the characters seemed to be relatively close to the writing of Robert Arthur, which made it a truly enjoyable story.
