Alfred Knopf Paperbacks In the early 1990s, a full line of Bullseye editions of the stories was issued (Alfred Knopf is part of Random House; so this was actually another Random House release). These all had new cover art and were designed to feel more contemporary in keeping with the publishing techniques at the time. This edition did provide opportunities for the later entries in the series to be given a larger distribution, but in general the effort did not result in a lasting base for book sales. However, it is more likely to find some of the later mysteries in this edition compared to the other editions. |
